What the academy runs

Seven services, one login

Each service has its own page, its own price where it costs money, and its own history on your profile.

• Personal TrainingOne-to-one time with a Kaizen trainer, on a slot you choose.Trainers publish their availability, you pick a slot and pay online or at the club. Your trainer sees every booking they own.Open page
• Group TrainingSmall groups, three members per session at the most.A monthly package of eight sessions in thirty days. Coaches assign the sessions, mark attendance and record your assessments.Open page
• FitnessOff-court conditioning classes on the same package model.Trainers schedule classes and you book up to capacity. Eight classes in thirty days, with attendance marked class by class.Open page
• MatchmakingBalanced four-player matches inside your own tier band.The admin opens slots per band, you sign up and pay. The system proposes balanced pairs by rating and left-right side, and the head coach confirms or swaps.Open page
• LeaguesTwo leagues, with season standings that build week by week.Beginner/Advanced-Beginner and Intermediate+. A league day takes eight players through a six-match round robin. The day's winners are recorded with their prize money, and the points carry into the season standings.Open page

Level and ranking

How ratings and tiers work

Your rating runs from 1.00 to 7.00 and starts at 1.50. Results and coach feedback move it, the club's thresholds turn it into a tier, and the tier decides who you play and which league you are eligible for.

What moves the number

• Match resultsEvery confirmed matchmaking match and every league day moves your rating. Beating a stronger pair pays more than beating an equal one, and winning by a wider margin adds a bonus. The first ten rated matches use the bigger learning rate, then it settles.
• Coach assessmentsYour trainer or the head coach scores each session from −5 to +5. That score becomes a small rating adjustment under a hard cap, so it steers you in the right direction without jumping you two tiers in a week.
• Club correctionsIf a result was entered wrong, an admin adjusts the rating and has to record the reason. Nothing is edited quietly: every change stays in your history with what it moved and who entered it.

The four tiers

Promotion is automatic: cross a threshold and your tier changes with it, which is why league eligibility updates without anyone asking. The ranges above are the thresholds the club currently uses; the admin console can change them and every tier is recomputed in the same step.
